Both cultivars are grown according to the principles of organic farming, manually harvested at the beginning of the olive oil campaign, in early October, precociously with respect to ripening and finally milled within 12 hours, to ensure the best quality of our extra virgin olive oil and preserve the maximum of the aromas and flavors typical of the area.
FAVOLA – BIOLOGICAL “MORESCA”
Extra virgin olive oil obtained from the autochthonous “Moresca” varieties, organically grown and cold pressed in the company’s oil mill.
“Moresca” is the olive that blushes and knows how to enchant.
A delicate extra virgin, but that amazes for the decisive character.
the extra virgin olive oil of Moresca has a medium fruity and we recommend it preferably on fish dishes, raw and grilled vegetables.
Excellent in cooking for cooking any dish, does not overpower the flavors!
FAVOLA – BIOLOGICAL “TONDA IBLEA”
Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, obtained from the autochthonous varieties “Tonda iblea” organically grown and cold extracted in our company oil mill.
For us at Agricola Oliva the Tonda Iblea is the “ciaurusa” olive that smells of mountain wind.
It has a fresh and intense bouquet with notes of tomato and freshly cut grass.
Medium fruity, very pleasant and persistent.
Also ideal for seasoning traditional Mediterranean dishes of sea and land, salads and soups.
Exceptional if used raw, to embellish your dishes or on a simple slice of bread.
We remind you to keep Favola oils in a cool and dry place, away from sources of light and heat.
This is the golden rule to allow the oil to express itself better over time!
